Join a group of yoga lovers on a trip that will take you to discover India, its culture, spirituality and amazing food with the guidance of Ameriga and a local guide.
Rajasthan is one of the most beautiful, old and colourful states of India. It was dominated by different kingdoms that have lefts behind grand forts and palaces.
The itinerary starts off in Agra, and then takes us to Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and finally in Delhi.
• You always wanted to visit Rajasthan, but you don’t want to travel alone.
• You are interested in learning more about Indian culture and spirituality.
• You’d like to practice yoga during your trip to India
• You want to discover more of the culture of India, for example Jaipuri music and dances from Rajasthan.
Day 1 – 28.12
Arrival at the airport.
The group will gather at the airport, and our private bus will leave at 2 PM from Delhi to Agra. The journey Delhi/Agra will take around 4 hours (240 km).
Hotel Check-in and Opening Circle
Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2 – 29.12
7.30-8.30 Yoga at the Hotel
8.30-9.00 Breakfast
9.30-2.30 Visit of the Taj Mahal, one of the 7th wonders of the world, and Agra fort.
After the visit, we will travel to Jaipur on our private bus (around 4 hours).
Dinner in hotel, and overnight stay.
Day 3 – 30.12
8.00-9.00 AM Yoga
9.00-10.00 Breakfast
10.00 onwards: Trip to the Amber Fort, one of the main wonders of the city, the ancient residence of the Maharajas of the Rajput dynasty of Rajasthan.
Lunch in the town near the fort. On the way back to the city center visit Jhal Mahal (Water Palace).
We will also visit the famous and suggestive Hindu Temple of the God Ganesh, Shri Garh Ganesh Ji Temple, which is located on the top of a hill. To get there we’ll hike a long and steep staircase.
Evening at the hotel with Jaipuri music show.
Day 4 – 31.12
8.00-9.00 AM Yoga
9.00-10.00 Breakfast
10.00 onwards:
Visit Shri Radha Govindaji, one of the oldest temples in the city of Jaipur, where the deities of Radha and Krishna (Radha Govinda) are kept. These deities were rescued from Vrindavana during the attack of the Persians in 1600.
Visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) which is located near the temple. Lunch in town. At 2 pm visit Jaipur textile printing and handicraft factory.
In the late afternoon for those who wish, it will be possibile to get Henna drawings.
New Year’s Eve with dinner at the hotel and Kabelia show, a typical dance from Rajasthan.

Day 5 – 01.01
8.00-9.00 AM Yoga
9.00-10.00 Breakfast
10.00 onwards:
Departure to Pushkar, around 145 km away, about 3 hours by road.
Arrival at the hotel, settle down. Exploration of the picturesque city of Pushkar including the only Temple in India dedicated to God Brahma, the Creator in the Hindu trinity. Pushkar is also famous for its beautiful markets.
Walk along the Pushkar lake ghats (Visit the famous Varaha Ghat, where the god Varaha, is the guardian).
Day 6 – 02.01
8.00-9.00 AM Yoga
9.00-10.00 Breakfast
10.00 onwards:
Departure for Jodhpur. It’s about 180 km and 4 hours by bus. Accommodation and lunch at the hotel. 3.00 pm Visit the beautiful and picturesque city of Jodpur, which is also called the “blue city”, due to the unique appearance conferred by the blue painted houses. Getting lost in the streets of this town is an incredible experience in itself. Visit the Achal Nath Shiv Temple, an ancient 16th century temple dedicated to the god Shiva.
Dinner at the hotel.
Day 7 – 03.01
8.00-9.00 AM Yoga
9.00-10.00 Breakfast
10.00 onwards:
Short hike to see the whole city from above. This very short hike starts at the entrance of Jaswant Thada. It takes around 15 minutes and by the end you will get an amazing view of Jaswant Thada and Mehrangarh Fort overlooking Jodpur. Visit Mehrangarh Fort.
Lunch out.
At 2 pm, camel safari just outside the city of Jodpur (the safari takes about 4/5 hours).
Dinner at the hotel.
Day 8 – 04.01
Breakfast at 7 AM and Departure for Udaipur. It’s about 260 km and 5 hours by bus. Udaipur was the former capital of the kingdom of Mewar and stands in the middle of a series of artificial lakes and is renowned for its ancient and luxurious palaces. 3 pm visit to the city center and the lakes surrounding the city. Boat ride and visit Jagadish temple dedicated to god Vishnu.
In the late afternoon we will check in in the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9 – 05.01
8.00-9.00 AM Yoga
9.00-10.00 Breakfast
10.00 onwards: visit to the Bharatya Lok Institute, an artistic and cultural center where at 12 there will be a show of the typical puppets of Rajasthan, accompanied by music.
At 1 pm lunch in the hotel. Check out at 15 and head to the train station (accompanied by the minibus).
17.00 PM Embark the overnight Train that will take us back to Delhi.
Day 10 – 06.01
Arrival in Delhi around 11 am. Traveling by train in India is an experience you will never forget. A unique adventure, which will enrich your cultural vision and which will make you fully enter the local Indian life.
Once in Delhi, everyone will be able to move independently. In any case, we recommend that you book your return flight not earlier than the night of the 06.01, because the train might be delayed.
You could spend a night in Delhi in the proximity of the airport. (Accommodation can be arranged for those who wish, as an extra).

Upon booking we will tell you if there is already a person available to share the room, or if you are in the waiting list. In general our group always sells out very fast and we are able to accomodate everybody in the accommodation of their choice, but please note that if we cannot find someone to share the room with you, you might have to pay for the single room upgrade.
